Tiny Room, Big Style

Is your second bedroom the size of a closet?  Don't worry, Tori's is too.  With frequent overnight guests and a need for more storage, it was time to give Tori's tiny room a facelift.

This bold and bright bed is the centerpiece of the entire room.  We got it on sale at One Kings Lane for only $225!  The matching pillow was an Etsy find for $34. The duvet and shams are from PB Teen, which has identical sheets to it's older sister Pottery Barn, but they are cheaper and come in fun colors.

The amazing rug was crazy reduced on a One Kings Lane flash sale, and was the inspiration for the entire room.  The adorable bedside table was a Rose Bowl Flea Market score for $20.  The  Eames inspired chair is from Amazon, and the sheepskin is from Ikea.

The accessories are vintage finds from Chairish and the flea market.  That adorable dream catcher is from one of our all time favorite places, House of Intuition.  The art is from Society 6, Tori's illustrator friend Iceal, and Tori's Marine husband who shot that target.  The frames are dirt cheap from Ikea.

You can see here just how tiny this room really is!  We chose to keep it super light, and bright, with pops of fun pattern as to not overwhelm the space.

That super cool map is of Tori's hometown, Seattle.  It was just sitting around her house, so we popped it into a frame!

We managed to fit a huge amount of storage onto this Ikea bookshelf.  The shelf is filled with bins, magazine files, printer paper, and books.

Quick Tip:  The printer paper is cleverly used to create a visible second row of books.  Just stack your books on top!

Quick Tip: Do yourself a big favor and label your bins and files.  It's so simple, but a real time saver.
