Not only are these peanut butter cookies stupid easy to make, they have been shipped all over the country in care packages for family and friends. Tori has been making these delicious cookies with her mom since she was little. These cookies are so addictive that we normally double the batch, just to make sure we have backups.
Ingredients:
1 Cup Peanut Butter
1 Cup Sugar (plus a dash for sprinkling)
1 Egg
1/2 cup Chocolate Chips * (optional)
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. In a mixing bowl combine peanut butter, sugar, and egg.
3. Fold in the chocolate chips* (optional).
4. Use a tablespoon to measure and shape each cookie, and place on a cookie sheet.
Quick Tip: make sure your cookie sheet is lined with parchment paper or silicone, or buttered
5. Lightly spray a plain bottomed glass with cooking spray. Use the sprayed glass to lightly press each cookie down.
6. Press a fork on top of each cookie to create a criss-cross pattern. Lightly sprinkle with sugar.
7. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until a light golden brown. Cool and enjoy!!
Quick Tip: we love to eat these cookies with some vanilla ice cream or a cold glass of milk
